Cathy has always enjoyed working out as a large part of living a healthy lifestyle. A combination of proper nutrition, weight training, and cardiovascular activity have been key in her conditioning. She currently teaches a weekly indoor cycling class and assists Chris Tybor with his kettlebell classes.
Kettlebell training has been a great addition to her fitness routine and has proven great phsycial and cardiovascular results. As a certified kettlebell trainer through the IKFF, she hopes to share with others what she has learned and to inspire people to integrate different activities such as kettlebell training into their own fitness routines. ~ Cathy Tybor
"Throughout my life I have been very physically active and enjoyed a number of sports including soccer (playing mostly midfield), mountain biking, aggressive inline skating, and running. I eventually found my way into a formal gym setting during my years at Canisius College. I became more and more interested in physical fitness during this time and eventually realized my passion for teaching people.
Learning about the human body and it’s response to training allows me to help others while being involved in something that I have a passion for. This passion eventually led me into the world of personal training. I have received my AFAA Personal Trainer Certification CPR/AED and Certification for Adult, Child & Infant from American Red Cross. I began as a fitness trainer at the Town of Tonawanda Aquatic and Fitness Center, and have since made my way to working with Chris Tybor."

I started out as a kid being very active. I played soccer and hockey from the time I was 5 til i was 14. In high school i joined the rowing team at school which was a complete eye opener for me in terms of fitness and conditioning. In order to become a better rower, so i could make better boats and win races, I found my way to a formal gym and found my passion for weight training.
This passion got me my first job as a Personal Trainer at the Aquatic and Fitness Center in the Town of Tonawanda. I recieved my personal training certification through AFAA(Aerobic and Fitness Association of America) and I am also CPR/AED and First Aid Certified though the American Red Cross. My passion is what aids me in assisting not only myself but my cleints to reach their goals, whether its improving athletic performance to simply getting back in shape. ~ Jack Lazarus |
